Delegates enjoy the ‘craic’ at Dublin workshop

Dublin Convention Bureau hosted 15 ICCA Sector Destination Marketing members and their accompanying clients who were decision makers/influencers of European association meetings at the recent ICCA Client/Supplier Business Workshop. Taking place from 28–30 June delegates enjoyed the typical Irish warm hospitality and a fun, relaxed and informal programme.

Delegates were accommodated in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel where the programme commenced on Thursday evening with a welcome reception. They were then taken on an entertaining UNESCO Literature tour of Dublin before dinner at the Cliff Townhouse.
The following day the Workshop took place and each member met with all the association executives for a one-on-one discussion about the possibility of hosting one of their future conferences. After an intense day of working delegates were able to relax whilst visiting the Old Jameson Distillery for an informal night of fun and entertainment with Irish singing and dancing!
Saturday morning the delegates were transferred to the Convention Centre Dublin for the Debriefing sessions and Client’s Forum and then given a tour of the centre.

ICCA would like to say a huge thank you to Miriam Kennedy, Jenny Finnegan and the rest of the team in Dublin Convention Bureau who truly were fantastic hosts, their hospitality was second to none and all the delegates thoroughly enjoyed their stay!
